We have reason to be proud: Chiesi is B Corp certified for the third time! For us, this is a confirmation that we continue to grow and improve our social and environmental performance.
Since our first certification in 2019, the second in 2022 and now again in 2025, we have shown that sustainability is not an empty promise, but a daily practice carried by all our employees.
Why B Corp?
For Chiesi, B Corp is a 'guiding framework' It helps us to measure our impact, improve it and challenge ourselves to go further. It's our commitment to building a better future – for people and for the planet.
How do we contribute from Chiesi Benelux?
At Chiesi Benelux, we are part of this global ambition to create a positive impact. The B Corp recognition translates into strong local initiatives within our four strategic domains:
✅ Patient – We actively support local communities and partner with patient organisations through projects such as The Sound of COPD, COPD House JAN and our annual Bike Challenge.
🌍 Planet – We are working our ambition to be NetZero by 2035. Locally, we are actively reducing our CO₂ emissions and energy consumption in our offices in Schiphol and Zaventem. We have introduced Chiesi's Code of Interdependence, which encourages responsible behavior among suppliers, partners and distributors.
👥 People – The well-being and development of our employees are central. This was recently confirmed again with our recognition as a Great Place to Work in Belgium and the Netherlands. We invest in programs that empower our people, with leadership and wellbeing initiatives, flexible working arrangements and continuous learning opportunities.
💼 Prosperity – Strong governance, ethical business practices and transparency are embedded in the way we operate. We use our B Corp certification, just like our GPTW recognition, to create concrete improvement plans for our business strategy and processes.
Together, we continue to build positive impact – for patients, people, the planet and prosperity for the community.
